International Islamic University to start online classes from 1st June

In response to recommendations of Higher Education Commission (HEC), International Islamic University (IIU) in Islamabad had announced on Saturday, 30th May, 2020 that all online classes will be resumed by 1st June, 2020. This decision has been taken to avoid the loss of students during corona crisis as said by the authorities of IIU. VC of IIU said that online teaching is being encouraged among the students so that semesters can be completed on time and academic loss can be recovered.

IIU had also designed an online teaching policy and shared among its faculty members so that students can be facilitated to their fullest. Online teaching policy shall be followed by online exam policy as advised by HEC. IIU is working to make online open book mode examination a formal exam and a committee will be established for ensuring transparency and standardization.
