Punjab Education Board has increased various fees by 100 times, the fee for change in date of birth has been increased from Rs.1100 to Rs.4600.
According to the details, the domestic degree verification fee has been increased to Rs 2400 and the foreign degree verification fee has been increased to Rs 6,000. Ten years after the result, the date of birth fee has been increased from 6,000 to 10,000.
The endowment fund fees of private colleges and schools have also been increased by 85%. School endowment fee has been increased from 35 thousand to 60 thousand. The affiliation fee of colleges has been increased from 90 thousand rupees to 12 lakh rupees.
Students are also worried about the hundredfold increase in name change fees. On the other hand, the education boards say that the increase in fees is being done with the approval of IBCC.
