Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has banned 450 different degree programmes of almost 180 universities belonging to public and private sector because of lack of quality and inability to meet the set standards.
The affected students and other stakeholders have to make their choices soon because these programmes will no longer be recognized by the HEC and students getting degrees will not be accepted by HEC.
Imperial College of Business Studies Lahore and Chakwal University also been banned by the HEC and the degrees granted by these two institutions will not be attested by the HEC Pakistan.
