HED, Higher Education Department has issued a letter to different universities to reduce the allowances and salaries of their teaching faculty. After receiving this letter, EUTA has rejected the orders.

Engineering University Teaching Association rejects the HED latter to reduce salaries of teacher’s faculty in universities. They have given a press statement about this latter of HED that KPK government take out this decision instantly because all the universities in the province are already running through a short budget and facing financial issues. But the government is futile to overcome the situation. According to them to start establishing a new university with a budget of 14 billion RS is critical when the already existing universities are swinging in crises related to the budget.

EUTA has decided to turn to other universities and having a protest in a united way against the illegal decision of the Higher education department.
