Islamabad: The Higher Education Commission has given great importance to the research in education. In this regard, HEC is creating ties and signing agreements with various international research institutions.

Dr. Tariq Banuri the Chairman HEC stressed the importance of engagement with the international world for research and academic purpose. Furthermore, he said that research activities will help to boost and develop the higher education sector.  It was stated on Wednesday while HEC chairman was talking to the Pakistani ambassador to Austria Mansoor Ahmad Khan.

Mr. Banuri stressed the need for better and more exchange programs for faculty members and students. Moreover, he asserted that HEC welcomes the international community to collaborate in the development of research in Pakistan.
