The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has asked for the complete record of its Faculty of Health Sciences after the varsity’s controversial announcement of admissions in medical degrees.
HEC has ordered the concerned authorities to compile a complete record of newly started degrees involving approval from the concerned bodies as well as academic and physical facilities for the students.
PU had been asked to produce and maintain all the records after its announcement in medical degrees of health and sciences, according to a letter by HEC Accreditation and Attestation Department. The university had published an ad for the announcement of admissions for the candidates.
The university had been directed to submit its response till Oct 15th but the university has not submitted its answer yet, according to HEC Media Director Aayesha Ikram.
PU VC has not been contacted yet despite the efforts to take his response on the matter.
