On the recommendation of NCOC, the closure duration of colleges has been increased. HEC has issued the notification regarding the closure of colleges all over the Province Punjab. The decision was taken due to the rapidly increasing cases of COVID-19 cases in the province.

Before that decision, it was announced the keep the colleges closed in till Eid Ul Fitr all over Punjab, but after increment in Positivity ratio of Corona cases in public NCOC has recommended to HEC to keep the colleges closed till 32rd May.

Another meeting will be held on 18 May 2021 to review the situation of the affected ratio and then the decision will be made that either the colleges will remain closed further or let them open.
