Higher Education Commission (HEC) has approved the requested application for the establishment of Government College University (GCU), sub-campus in District HafizAbad. In addition, the accepted request has been given by the incumbent MNA of District Hafizabad, Ch Shokat Ali Bhatti.

Before the starting of the General Elections 2018, Ch Shokat Ali made a promise to the public of Hafizabad for establishing a University in their district. He made an easy door for the youth to get a higher education.     

Director General of Higher Education Commission (HEC), Dr.  M Mazhar Saeed requested the GCU Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr. Muhammad Ali for taking the necessary steps in this regard.

Moreover, the academic activities of GCU sub-campus Hafizabad would be commenced after the initiative of GCU officials.

Consequently, the public has appreciated the fulfilling promise of MNA regarding the establishment of a new University campus. The youth of Hafizabad also extolled the fulfilled commitment promised by the incumbent legislator chair of Hafizabad.
