HEC is now announcing news about the research grant regarding CPEC. In this respect HEC has demanded research proposals from different research domains.

Academic Collaboration under CPEC Consortium of Universities is the initiative of HEC and CPEC-CRG is its main factor. This project is facilitating at national level by utilizing the Chinese input in this project. The project is serving in various fields like

• Sustainable Agriculture
• Health and Wellbeing
• Clean Water and Sanitation
• Poverty Alleviation
• Science and Technology for Sustainable Development
• Sustainable Cities and Communities
• Cultural Harmony between Pakistan and China
• Sustainable Energy
• Sustainable Infrastructure

Researchers are invited to apply for research grant in these thematic disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria

      Ph.D. and FCPS/MCPS/FRCS members, either regular or on contract basis are allowed to avail this opportunity. Also members of public and private universities, member of CPEC Consortium of Universities are eligible.

Grant Cost

Research grant will be provided up to 50 million under CPEC-CRG and the project completion time will be three years. It is also possible that budget may vary upto 100 million in exceptional case.

Application Submission

Application for research grant from CPEC-CRG is being submitted by HEC’s R&D online portal. Application other than online official portal will not be entertained. The last submission date is 31^st March 2021.
