British Council to take Cambridge exams from 90,000 students, British Council warns students to take part in exams
A letter has been sent by the British Council to the Provincial Minister Yasir Humayun. It said the British Council would launch the Cambridge examinations on April 26. The Cambridge exams will run until June 13. More than 5,000 students will take the exam daily at 13 places in Lahore. A total of 40 centers have been set up in 22 districts of Punjab. Non-participating students will be able to take the exam in October.
On the other hand, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood while tweeting about Cambridge said that Cambridge should keep in view the extraordinary situation, reconsider the decision regarding the remaining papers. Shafqat Mehmood said that Cambridge should reconsider the condition of 13 months, hopefully a positive decision will come
Shafqat Mahmood has also expressed good wishes for the students participating in the examinations starting today. "This is a difficult time and a difficult time. These decisions were made in the best interests of the students. The British Council is committed to strict implementation of SOPs. We will closely monitor SOPs," he said.
