Teachers will have to submit nine inquiries and nine pension certificates for promotion.
The government has imposed new conditions on teacher promotions. Teachers will have to submit No Inquiry and No Punishment Certificate for promotion. No Inquiry No Punishment Letter will be required for each teacher.
Promotions will be stopped in case of inquiry or punishment against teachers. Director Public Instruction Punjab has sought documents from 550 teachers for promotion in Grade 18. Teachers have been directed to submit certificates to the concerned education authorities by June 10. Teachers who do not provide the documents will be included in the drop list.
