Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced to give free laptops to one lakh youth.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of youth loan scheme, the Prime Minister said that the government will distribute free laptops to one lakh youth on the basis of merit.
The Prime Minister said with reference to merit that laptops will be given to youths who have shown outstanding performance in the field of education across the country.
He said that 'no one is giving Kalashnikovs to the youth, but we are giving them laptops for a better future and employment'. He said that the laptops given earlier by the Punjab government led to employment for the youth.
