Government of KPK Withdraws Order of Abaya for School Girls After an objection

Peshawar:  A week ago on the government of KPK issued a circular for the girl students to follow proper dress code while going to school or college. Abaya, chadar, or veils were considered to be mandatory for the girls to protect themselves against the unethical act like harassment.

The District Education officer (DEO) had issued a circular for all girl students and addressed the head mistresses and principals of the schools and colleges to comply with the order. Same circular was issued by the education officer of Haripur for the girl students.

This circular became controversial therefore Chief Minister Mahmood Khan advised the secretary of elementary and secondary education, Arshid Khan, to withdraw the order that had been issued earlier.
