The Master’s students enrolled in Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad were granted laptops on Friday. A total of 162 laptops among the students of master’s were distributed in order to help them complete their research work in an effective manner.

The laptops were given to the students under the third phase of laptop scheme and the merit-criteria set by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan was followed strictly for this, according to the released statement of the university.

“A transparent mechanism was adopted while implementing the scheme,” stated AIOU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shahid Siddiqui while addressing the distribution ceremony.
