Islamabad: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the allocation of 484 seats to the successful candidates of Central Superior Services (CSS), from the year 2017.
7.5 percent seats would be allocated on the bases of open merit while 50 percent of the seats will be allocated to the successful candidates from Punjab. Similarly, 7.6 percent seats will go to Sindh urban, 11.4 to Sindh’s rural area’s successful candidates.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) with 11.5 percent, Balochistan with 6 percent, Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) with 4 percent, Gilgit Baltistan with 4 percent and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) with 2 percent are among the share holders in the seats, according to a notice issued by the Federal Public Service Commission.
The number of reserved seats for women is 69 and 70 seats are reserved for minorities. The rest of 345 seats will be allocated according to the share plan.
