FBISE Announces Matric Results, Position Holders’ Details

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced Matric results and the female students clinched the top position in the results.

Caretaker Minister for Education Muhammad Yusuf Shaikh attended the ceremony as the chief guest, which was organized to announce the results and honor the position holders. Chairman FBISE, Dr. Ikram Ali Malik, position holder students, parents, teachers and representatives from the education ministry, federal board and other educational institutions also attended the ceremony.

This year, 89443 regular, private and ex-candidates appeared in the SSC Part II examinations 2018. Out of this huge number, 74829 could pass the exams and the passing percentage remained at 83.66 in FBISE SSC part II results.

In science group, Arooj Kiran from OPF Girls College, F-8/2 secured the first position with 1086 marks. The second position was bagged mutually by three students; Haram Aftab and Aleena Aslam both from Army Public School for Girls Tufail Road Lahore Cant. and Areefa-tus-Sattar PAEC Model College for Girls Chashma, Mianwali with 1085 marks in SSC part II result.

With a difference of only two marks, the third position was also shared by three students including Maazz Amjad from Army Public School, Fort Road Rawalpindi, Maryam Irshad from Army Burn Hall College for Girls Abbottabad and Hooriya Fatima from Islamabad Model College for Girls G-10/2, Islamabad, securing 1084 marks in the results.

In Humanities Group, Summaya Adil from Islamabad Model School for Girls G-11/1 secured the first position. The second and third positions were clinched by Atif Ullah and Muhammad Yahya, respectively. Both of the students are from Institute of Islamic Science, Satra Meel Islamabad.

The chief guest and higher authorities congratulated the position holders and urged them to work harder for the development of Pakistan.
