Islamabad: The renowned Poetess of Pakistan Parveen Shakir left the world and her followers behind 24 years ago at a very young age. Her 24th death anniversary is celebrated on 26th December. She has a great contribution in the modern Urdu Literature and female expression of emotions through her words.
Parveen Shakir was born on 24th November 1952. She got birth in the city of lights Karachi. Parveen Shakir became famous for the eastern style of writing and depicting the issues of working-class women. Parveen had an amazing grip on emoting emotions through words. Moreover, her famous works include Inkaar ,Khushbu’,’ Mah-e-Tamam Sad-Barg’ and ‘Khud kalaami’. However, the young and talented poetess left the world on 26th December 1994 due to a car accident in Islamabad.
