In wake of covid-19 and for saving the academic year of students, Punjab University is conducting online exams for the students of B.A. and B. Sc. Part II. Exams are conducted online for the very first time in the history of university. In order to get staff and students familiarize with the online examination, mock exams are also being scheduled. Mock exams will be followed with actual examination a week after it which will be right after the Eid Holidays. Dates for mock exams are 23^rd of July to 31^st July, 2020 with exams to be conducted with effect from 5^th of August and will continue till 4^th September, 2020.

Date sheets of online exams shall be as per roll number slips available to all students. In addition to that, certain guidelines have been shared by the authorities of Punjab University. The guidelines for all regular, late and private students are as follows:

• Roll number slips can be obtained from the website of Punjab University, whereas, the roll number slips of all private college students have been forwarded to their respective colleges.
• All students shall have their own laptops or PCs with working internet connection, microphone and camera. If one is using PC or even laptop, it shall be connected with UPS in order to ensure uninterrupted connection. Moreover, Windows 8.1 or 10 shall be installed on the computer and preferable web browser should be Google Chrome.
• The login credentials of all students have been forwarded to their email IDs in which Safe Exam Browser’s link is also shared which shall be used for downloading it.
• Students are encouraged to appear in the mock exams and shall use same laptops for final examinations as well.
• Prior to final exams, students would have to login into a Google Meeting before 30 to 45 minutes before commencement of examination. This meeting will link examination staff with the students.
