The Communication University of China (CUC) is willing to begin joint programmes in numerous disciplines with the National University of Modern Languages (NUML).
Furthermore, the Chinese university is concerned with NUML in signing Memorandum of Understanding with its various disciplines including cross-culture studies, translation and interpretation and mass communication.
During his visit to NUMLand meeting with NUML Director General Brigadier (retired) Muhammad Ibrahim, the CUC Director stated that the varsity was eager to explore the student exchange programme in order to improve the quality and standards of education I both the countries. He further said that his students are willing to learn Pakistani languages including Urdu, Pashto, Punjabi and Balochi with an intention of playing a better role in CPEC.
The NUML Director said that they too were interested in exchanging students and faculty especially from the department of mass communication. Moreover he suggested that they could help the Chinese students in learning different regional and international languages.
