In collaboration with the Chinese Embassy, China Cultural day was observed at the campus area of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, CIIT Islamabad. The celebration of this day was organized by China Study Center, CIIT Islamabad.

Chinese Ambassador of China Yao Jing along with other honorable guests graced the celebrations. On this occasion, the diplomats from various other counties like Afghanistan, Yemen and Iran were also present.

Pakistan and China have always supported each other in every thick and thin since the creation of Pakistan, said Rector COMSATS. The countries have strong relations with each other on every level, he further said.

The festivities amused the Ambassador and he appreciated the efforts of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, CIIT Islamabad regarding the celebration of the day.

The Ambassador announced the scholarships in his speech in the Chinese Universities for Pakistani students. The best Pakistani universities can suggest their students to the embassy for the admission in the best Chinese universities, he further said in his speech.

The Ambassador also took a round of the campus during his visit and witnessed colorful stall set by the students depicting the cultures of all the provinces of Pakistan.
