To increase the contact of people and between two nations, Canadian Minister of Immigration and Citizenship Ahmed Hussain has assured rapid visa processing system for Pakistani students and businessmen.
Pakistani High Commissioner Tariq Azim Khan invited the Canadian minister on dinner in Pakistan House, Ottawa where the High Commissioner put these issue in discussion. The Canadian minister has assured the High Commissioner that the visa processing speed will be increased for the Pakistani students and businessmen.
The lengthy and strict visa process for the genuine students have been discouraging for the applicants, added the High Commissioner of Pakistan.
He also told the minister that the trade relations between the two nations require a boost in order to bring the traders of both of the countries close by allowing visa for traders. This step will enhance the trade between Canada and Pakistan.
The bottleneck in visa processing for the students and traders should be removed so that they could concentrate on their goals.
The Canadian minister said that the government was working to reduce the hurdles and difficulties in visa processing in order to allow maximum of the students and traders.
The minister assured that he himself will look into the matter of genuine student visas and solve their issues during his visit to the regional visa processing centers.
The minister assured the High Commissioner that the process has been aligned for the reunion of the families and the Pakistani students studying in the Canadian universities will be supported.
