Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood has announced that Cambridge has been agreed to reschedule their O Level exams after 15 May. But the exams of A-Level and As level will be held according to the planned schedule announced earlier. Moreover, it is announced that exams being held in corona will follow the strict SOP’s as prescribed by the officials. Because there is no compromise of the health of students.
Minster has announced that exams of inter and matric will be held in May and June.
“Our children are giving [inter and matric] exams under the Pakistani boards, hence the same [rule] will also apply for children giving exams for other boards,” he said, referring to O level and A level students.
In this announcement, Shafqat Mehmood has also given a hint and showed the possibility that exams of A and As Level can be postponed.
After detailed discussions, Cambridge has agreed to reschedule ‘O’ level exams to after May 15. Details will be shared later by them. However, ‘A’ and ‘As’ level exams will take place as per the original timetable, following all the SOPs. Wishing everyone success in the exams
