Private sector colleges have broken the previous records as their success is being observed in the recently declared results by BISE AJK. Chairman of BISE AJK, Prof. Shahid Munir Jaraal announced the results at a news conference on Monday. The names of position holders were also announced and later on publicized for the general public. Results are being announced under the guiding policy of government for promotion of students without conducting any exams owing to fast spread disease of corona virus. BISE AJK’s Chairman said that covid-19 had disturbed not only the daily lives but entire operations of the academic system of the country. One of the highlights of the press conference was that private colleges took a huge leap forward in the results.
The first position was secured by a student named Husnain Ali from Bhimbher belonging to Pre-Engineering Group and Read Foundation College. He was able to secure 1053 marks out of 1100 marks. Jawairiya Shah Nawaz of Kashmir Model College Mirpur and Humma Zara of Aspire College Mirpur were able to secure second position with getting 1047 marks. Similarly, there was a tie on the third position in which Talah Bin Shabir of Read Foundation College, Bhimbher and Muhammad Shafique of Jammu Kashmir Public School, Kotli secured 1044 marks out of the total of 1100 marks.
