Good news for the students, it has been decided to reduce the working hours of Punjab schools by 2 hours.
It has been decided to reduce the working hours of schools by 2 hours during Ramadan. Boys' school will start at 8 am and the holiday will be at 12:30 pm. The girls' school will start at 7.30 am and the holiday will be at 12.30 pm. The new working hours in schools will be applicable from the first of Ramadan. The school education department has sought the opinion of the education authorities regarding the change in working hours.
Earlier, Pune and Boys schools have a holiday at 2.30 pm and a girls' school at 2.30 pm.
