Islamabad: The new admissions of Allama Iqbal Open University will start from 1^st February 2019. The admissions will start for the spring session. The admissions will be open from matriculations to the Ph.D. degree. According to the press release, a new session will also organize teacher’s training programs.

Zia Ul Qayyum the Vice Chancellor of AIOU said the main motive is to focus more on improving the content development and better quality of education. Moreover, the improvement in technology and the use of new innovations in the delivery system was also discussed.

Currently, AIOU is providing educational opportunity to 1.4 million students from all around Pakistan. Furthermore, the University focuses on increasing female literacy ratio as well.
