Punjab higher education department has decided to take action against the teachers who are working in private schools and colleges in secret during their duty timings in their government institutions. Department has demanded the list of the teachers of the private schools so that they can check the name of the teachers working there as well as at a government institute too. 

 The private schools are ordered to submit these lists within 7 days of order announcement.

The spokesperson of the Punjab Higher Education deportment said

“Action will be taken against all such teachers who teach at these private educational institutions during their work hours,”

 Also, it is clearly stated in Civil Servants Amendment Act, 2016, that no government employee is allowed to serve secretly in any other organisation during his duty hours at service as well as an international non-government organisation.
