Education department of Punjab starts registering students for 9^th class exams from June and July every year but has suspended for current year till the normalization of corona virus situation. Punjab Board Committee Chairman has stated in their recent notification that no educational board shall register any of the students neither private nor regular for 9^th class. According to recent figures, 0.25 million students register for 9^th class exams every year. The notification concludes the case by stating that registration will remain at halt until the normalization of situation across the country.
