Karachi: On 22nd November 2018, the 11 International Urdu Conference is commenced at Karachi arts council. The 4 days conference is organized and arranged by the Arts Council of Karachi. The conference is said to be featuring scholars, poets and writers from within Pakistan and overseas.
The President of Arts council announced the festival at a press conference. He said that there that been no festivals in Karachi, there trend started in 2008 by the arts council holding Urdu conference in 2008. He further added that these events provide benefit to the citizens especially the youth by providing them health pastime.
Moreover scholar and students from foreign states such as US and Denmark will also participate in the conference. The conference is said to explore the role of cyberspace and Naatia Literature, ghazal and dance performances are will also grace the event. The 4 days event will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah
