Lahore: For the promotion of research, the Fatima Jinnah Medical University and the Leads University of the UK agreed on an MoU. At the eve of this ceremony of signing an MOU, Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmin Rashid was called as the chief guest while FJMU Vice-Chancellor Aamir Zaman Khan, Dr Shehnaz and Dr Landa from Leads, staff and students were present on the occasion. The MOU document was signed by Prof Aamir Zaman Khan and Prof Dr Landa. The health minister said research is a mandatory part for enhancing the students’ abilities and vision. She has declared the MoU with Leads University UK as a good omen for FJMU. She has also affirmed that they will promote research culture as the provision of modern health care facilities can only be ensured by focusing on and promoting advanced research.
