The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar organizes the exams for matriculation and intermediate level according to the fixed schedule. The exams for intermediate are generally conducted two months after the matriculation exams by the board.The annual exams for intermediate level are organized in the month of May and date sheet is issued one month before the exam. Last year the board has issued the date sheet for intermediate in the month of April the board is expected to follow the same schedule this year.
The Board of intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar is the most dominating board of the division of Peshawar and has an educational authority to control all the educational matters of the region. The Board of intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar was established in 1961 and has been successfully commencing the exams of Intermediate and matriculation since then. The board has an educational authority over the areas of District Peshawar, F.R. Peshawar and Khyber Agency, District Charsadda, Shabqadar and Mohmand Agency and District Chitral.
