One of the best universities of the world, University of Cambridge has announced scholarships for the students across the world including Pakistan. These scholarships, donated by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to the University of Cambridge aim at providing an opportunity to the students of deprived families to study at one of the prestigious universities of the world.
Established in 2000, the Gates Cambridge Scholarship programme’s criteria are extraordinary intellectual capacity, leadership qualities, a vow to improve the lives of other people and synchronization between applicant’s qualifications and the postgraduate programme at the University of Cambridge which they’re intended to apply.
The eligibility criteria are quite simple for the scholarship. You can apply for Gates Cambridge Scholarship if you belong to any country (except UK). You are also eligible if you’re intended to pursue one of following full-time residential courses at Cambridge:
PhD (three year research-only degree)
MSc or MLitt (two year research-only degree)
One year postgraduate course (e.g. MPhil, LLM, MASt, Diploma, MBA etc.)
You can't apply for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship if you are:
Application deadline depends on your course. It could be either 6 December 2017 or 4 January 2018.
