Tips for Creating Better Memory

We all live in a very busy life. We rarely give time to ourselves. To match with the speech of time we forget to focus on betterment. We also forget a lot of other things. Do you ever open your drawer and forget what were you looking for?  Do you also get blank during an exam? Do you keep forgetting your ID card or keys at home? If yes then you can improve your memory by adopting some easy and healthy ways.

  1. Exercise

You don’t have to learn difficult and tiresome exercises to make your memory better. Do simple exercises which include cardio like running, jogging, walking, skipping ropes or cycling. The cardio makes the blood flow faster around your body especially in your brain. The faster blood flow reaches Hippocampus, the small part of brain that helps you memorize things. Exercising a daily also creates new blood cells in the brain which keeps you present minded makes it easy for you to grasp information.

  1. Better meals

Sugar and Salt plays an amazing role in enhancing your memory power. The hippocampus consists of insulin that keeps your memory on track so take proper amount of sugar in a day. The natural sugar in fruits play better role. Do not take a lot of sugar because excess of sugar can damage hippocampus. Salt also helps to keep you and your memory healthy but take it in a balanced amount otherwise it can cause Alzheimer disease. So choose and make better and balanced meals.

  1. Get Enough Sleep

A tired mind does not work properly. Your mind and your body need rest to function in the best manner. Sleeping is the best way to relax your mind. It is must to sleep for 6 to 8 hours at night and take a small nap of 20 minutes before studying it stimulates the memory cells to function better thus it becomes easier for you to remember. Do not over sleep because it makes you lethargic and forgetful.

  1. Group Conversations

Be interactive, talk to people. Talk to your friends, family and your fellows at work place. Talking to people helps you remember things better so don’t only be a book worm. Go to interactive platforms.  Attend seminars and workshops it helps you remember things in a better way. It also helps you to live a lively life.
