All brilliant students have a great opportunity to study abroad. It is a dream of all the high achieving students of Pakistan to study abroad and expand their horizon. The government of Brunei Darussalam has announced many opportunities for scholarships international students around the globe. The scholarships in another Islamic country is yet a relief for the students of Pakistan as they do not have to face the stereotypical attitude of the people and exercise their faith comfortably while focusing on studies.

The academic scholarships 2019-2020 are open for application. The scholarship programs are offered for undergraduate degrees, Postgraduate degrees, Master degrees and diploma programs for various fields. The program has covered all the levels of higher education.

According to the scholarship offered by the government of Darussalam, the students can take admission in the highly recognized Universities in Brunei. The students can make a choice for the university they want to study. The list of the University shows 4 prominent prestigious educational institutes:

1.     The University of Brunei Darussalam

2.     The University of Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA),

3.     The University of Teknologi Brunei (UTB)

4.     The University of Politeknik Brunei (PB).

Eligibility Criteria for the scholarship:

The scholarships are open for all the international students including the students of Pakistan. However, the citizens of Brunei Darussalam cannot apply for this scholarship program as it is only applicable for foreign and international students.

The Age limit:

The acceptable age limit for application in the undergraduate and diploma programs is provided between 18 to 25 years. The students older than 25 years of age cannot apply for Undergraduate or Diploma programs. The same is applied to the students younger than 18 years.

The prescribed age for the Postgraduate programs is extended and the students up to 35 years old can apply for the scholarship. The age limit can be checked on the official website as well.

Facilities offered for the recipients of scholarships offered by the Government of Brunei Darussalam:

1.     The Air Ticket from Brunei to Home State

2.     BDN$500.00 Monthly personal allowances.

3.     BND$600.00 allowances for academic books

4.     BND$150.0 allowances for the meals Monthly

5.     The students will be provided with residence at the University’s residential facility

6.     Insurance of the students.

Apply for the Scholarship

The students can apply for the scholarship downloading the form provided at the official website.  The students, however, can also apply online directly. It is available at the website of the University of Brunei Darussalam “https://apply.ubd.edu.bn/orbeon/uis-welcome/” The student must carefully read the list of documents asked in the form for the scholarship. Fill the form very carefully as incomplete forms will be rejected.

The application for the scholarship programs has opened and students must take this opportunity to apply for this program offered by the government of Darussalam Brunei. The must start the process now because it takes time to complete all the requirements.
